Yes, those are water shoes...I protect my feet, but no swim cap. My hair tends to feel dry after swimming in the ocean. Any suggestions

What a gorgeous picture exemplifying the true beauty and freedom of locks. Your locks are gorgeous! It is so good to see how natural hair loves water. Since an island cannot even be an island without water. It is interesting how a people that was placed on regions that were completely surrounded by water, allowed society to take us out of our natural state (in so many more ways than one), to a place where we feared water not only physically but also emotionally, especially when it came down to our hair. When in fact we were made, (from head to toe) to be beautiful island beauties and to enjoy the beautiful beaches while adjusting to ALL the various arrays of beauty that nature has to offer. Being natural is being free to be the total ~me~ we are supposed to be! ~FROM HEAD TO TOE INSIDE AND OUT! OK- I loved the picture!:)
